2010 has been amazing...
I've accomplished a ton this year and plan to do just as good or better in 2011... Thanks for all the support all!!! Be safe and have fun tonight!
The above "Pound-A-Thon" is a chance for me to use my connection to you all for good rather than evil. I decided when I hit 340 pounds that for the next 100 pounds I lose I would donate $5 to charity. My good friend DJ helped me create the above form to allow others to join me and help a good cause. What cause you ask, well it's the cause of fighting diabetes. When I was in junior high my grandfather passed away due to complications related to diabetes. My stepdad has been struggling with diabetes for many years. And a few of my very close friends have it as well so it's something that really speaks to me. The form allows you to choose whatever amount (per pound) you would like to pledge. In the US 23.6 millions people have diabetes, that's a lot of people.
Pledge what you can if you can. At this moment it is just a pledge. When I reach the 240 goal, you will be then sent an email with instructions on how to make you donation.

UPDATE: We did it... We raised $3400 to fight diabetes!!! You guys rock!!!!
